Minister O’Dowd Meets with Omagh Chamber
Department of Education Minister, John O’Dowd MLA, second from right, has met recently with representatives from Omagh Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Parliament Buildings, Stormont, Belfast. Items discussed at this meeting included the skills gap between what employers need and what students can provide, potential closure of rural primary schools, the Lisanelly Shared Educational Campus and the teaching of computer coding and other ICT/keyboard skills as part of the school curriculum.
